Welcome to Tomania
The Principality of Tomania, Inc, a 501(C)(3) not for profit corporation, was founded more than 30 years ago to provide services to other accredited charities by assisting in the presentation of events by providing a royal or noble patron. The events have largely been in the Central Florida area.
The unusual name of the organization was taken from a newspaper article in Miami during which one of the founders, the late HRH Prince Tomislav of Jugoslavia (Serbia) was noted as being the grandson of the famed Marie, Queen of Romania. Romania was misspelled as "Tomania" and the prince found it quite amusing and a reminder to not take ourselves too seriously.

The Founders of the Society
The Founders of the Society were
HRH Prince Tomislav of Jugoslavia, younger brother of the last King, Peter II, and a great grandson of HM Queen Victoria. He was married twice, first to Grand Duchess Marguerita of Baden, and secondly to Linda Bonney of Sussex, UK. He had two children in each marriage. His widow, Princess Linda, now resides in Serbia with her two chldren. Prince Tomislav, in addition to family and other orders, was a Knight of the Veneralble Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem.
His Grace, The 12th Duke of Argyll, Ian Campbell. The Duke, now succeded by his son the 13th Duke, and his wife, were participants in the same fundraising event in Miami. The Duke was Master of the Queen's Household in Scotland, and a Knight of the Veneralble Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem.
Roger Carlton Sherman. Mr. Sherman is likewise a member of the Order of St. John, and is a member of the Grand Council of the Military & Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem under HRH the Duke of Seville. He has primarly been associated with cultural organizations in Tampa and St. Petersburg
Rene Jose Gonzalez. Mr Gonzalez is the founder of the Spanish Lyric Theatre, Florida's premier ethnic based musical presenter. He and his organizaitons have been recognized by the King of Spain as well as State and Local Governments.
